What is Clinical Neuropsychology?

Clinical Neuropsychology is a branch of clinical psychology offering specialist assessment, formulation and therapy with individuals who may require support with ADHD, Autism , Learning Difficulties, Brain Injury or cognitive changes related to Dementia. 

 

Clinical Neuropsychologists provide:

• Detailed assessment and diagnostic services.

• Information and therapy to support your rehabilitation and maintain your independence.

• Evidence-based psychological therapies to support a range of psychological difficulties 

• Where appropriate we can offer support to families and friends who may be struggling to adjust to having a loved one survive cognitive impairment.

• Teaching and training of other professional staff on the interdisciplinary team 

• Completing evidence based assessments for courts or those involved with medico-legal proceedings.
